The 2nd Araucaria Symposium in Cell and Molecular Biology was organized by the Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology of UFPR and the Graduate Program in Biosciences and Biotechnology of the ICC (Fiocruz-PR) with the participation of renowned researchers from Brazil and abroad. The symposium addressed the themes: Cell Stress. It included lectures (with national and international researchers), round tables, poster and oral presentations.

The event aims to promote the exchange of cutting-edge information on topics of cell and molecular biology among participants, the interaction between researchers from different national and international research groups for the establishment of collaborations, and the encouragement of undergraduate students to join the graduate programs.
