1st Araucaria Symposium in Cell and Molecular Biology

June 27th to 29th 2017

The 1st Araucaria Symposium  in Cell and Molecular Biology was organized by the Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology of UFPR and the Graduate Program in Biosciences and Biotechnology of the ICC (Fiocruz-PR) with the participation of renowned researchers from Brazil and Latin America. The symposium addressed two main themes: Cancer and Parasites. It included lectures (with national and international researchers), round tables, poster and oral presentations.

Venue: Auditorium of the Sector of Applied Social Sciences, Botanic Garden Campus, UFPR, Curitiba, PR.

About the event:

The Symposium was held from June 27th to 29th 2017 and had 332 in person participants (120 undergraduate and 132 graduate students; and 73 professionals), with 4 oral presentations, and 109 exposed posters.
